Worldwide Nepalese Students Organization, Bangladesh has submitted the collective signatories from around 1600 Nepalese students studying in different institutions throughout Bangladesh to Nepal Embassy, Bangladesh. Due to sudden rise of visa renewal fee for Nepalese students in Bangladesh has bothered the Nepalese Students in Bangladesh. ‘The aim of petition by Nepalese Students is to request the embassy personnel to have diplomatic lobby with the Government of Bangladesh to control the price hike for visa renewal’ Amit Giri, WNSO Bangladesh Coordinator informed.
Recently the Visa Renewal fee has been raised from $15 to $55 for single entry and simultaneously $100 for multiple entry and $250 for 5 years, Dr. Rakesh Sah, WNSO-ICC Member said. Dr. Sah further informed that His Excellency Mr. Hari Kumar Shrestha, Ambassador of Repulbic of Nepal for Bangladesh has assured to solve the problem of Nepalese Students having the diplomatic approach with Government of Bangladesh.
His Excellency Mr. Shrestha marked that Nepalese students and guardians shall be aware about the decreasing quality of Bangladeshi education capacity day by day, and therefore, he pointed the Nepalese students not to rely on the information channelized by the education consultancies and agents working for the Bangladeshi education institutions.
